On Tuesday June 23, 2015, the Mālama ʻĀina Field School, from Nānākuli Intermediate and High School, came to visit the Mālaola. We toured the garden, learned about some of the different native plants and uses... and got to work!!
We cleared 29 bags of weeds from the Mālaola, moved mulch to create a path and worked together to move dozens of rocks to line the entrance. Mahalo Field School Students, awesome job!
