November Workday 2015

 Such a beautiful November day to enjoy being in the Mālaola!

Today we planted white crown flowers and learned how to make a beautiful pohinahina lei. Mahalo everyone for coming out to the Mālaola and Mikala for teaching us how to make this gorgeous lei!

Remember how we were INUNDATED with weeds after all of the summer rain?

Helping hands came from our neighbors:

 to pull weeds, provide weed cloth and mulch, spread the mulch.

We appreciate ALL the help that has come out to the Mālaola

 from our Hālau ʻO Kaululauaʻe Volunteers to our Dupont Pioneer and Monsanto Volunteers.
